Village Live Records present: Kuartz – Shurikens

The latest album on Village Live Records comes in the form of an instrumental LP ‘Shurikens’ made deep in the Villages of the Manchester area by the MPC extraordinaire, Kuartz.

Following an impressive back catalogue of beat tapes & collaborations, notably the LP ‘The Way Of The Bolo’ with Queens MC Aye Wun & several projects on San Francisco’s 77 Rise Recordings, Kuartz returns with his first solo LP ‘Shurikens’

Shurikens is 22 tracks of dusty loops, melodic jazz samples and crunchy drums, with several vocal samples thrown in the mix, giving this album a really solid sound from start to finish.
